Overview

Sustainable economies create quality jobs without harming the environment. SDG 8 promotes inclusive growth, productive employment and decent work, protects labour rights, supports entrepreneurship and small businesses, and works to end forced labour and child labour.

Key targets

•      Sustain per capita economic growth in line with national circumstances.

•      Achieve full and productive employment and decent work for all, including young people and persons with disabilities.

•      Promote development-oriented policies that support entrepreneurship, creativity and small enterprises.

•      Eradicate forced labour, modern slavery and child labour.

The Center's contribution

The Center helps students build employability and entrepreneurial skills, supports youth-led start-ups with a sustainability focus, and connects the University with the private sector.
