University of Zakho Holds Meeting to Finalize Preparations for International Scientific Conference on Artificial Intelligence

A comprehensive meeting was held at the University of Zakho to review and coordinate the administrative and academic preparations for the upcoming International Scientific Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The meeting was held on June 9, 2026, under the supervision of Dr. Diyar A. Bleej, Dean of the College of Science, and focused on the various stages of organizing and managing the conference.

During the meeting, detailed discussions addressed the overall organizational process, ranging from preparations for receiving guests and researchers to finalizing the conference’s academic program. To ensure effective and professional management, duties and responsibilities were systematically distributed among several specialized subcommittees.

The international scientific conference is scheduled to take place on June 17–18, 2026, as a joint academic initiative involving the University of Zakho, Duhok Polytechnic University, Şırnak University, Soran University, and Akre University for Applied Sciences.
The meeting marked an important step in finalizing the administrative and academic arrangements for the conference, with the participating universities continuing their coordination to ensure the successful organization of the event.
