The University of Zakho encourages and supports its community for performing scientific research and publishing in highly qualified scientific journals, especially the ones listed in Thomson Reuters. For that purpose, this page lists the needed guidance and regulations.

Regulations of Publishing Research Papers

This section includes all official orders that announced and received by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific research – KRG. Moreover, it includes all University official orders that published by the office of Vice President for Scientific & Postgraduate Affairs. This page can be accessed only for members of the University of Zakho.
 

Requirements for participating in any Inter/national Conferences

To have a good scientific contribution and in order to get permission to participate in the conference, kindly get prepared based on the stated regulation bellow:
  • The application should reach to Vice President for Scientific and Postgraduate Affairs office a month prior the conference date. It must include the following documents:
    1. Acceptance/invitation letter (oral presentation) from the conference;
    2. Approval document by department’s scientific committee with head of the department;
    3. Approval document by Dean of the faculty/College;
    4. Attach a copy of the approved article;
    5. The accurate title of the conference including the link of the conference;
    6. The date and place of the conference;
    7. The relevance and scientific / technological importance of organizing the conference;
    8. Clarify the program and subjects of the conference.
