Ali, participated in the annual assembly of the Mediterranean University Union held by the UNIMED organization in Spain. The event was progressive for a period of two days, March 16 and 17, 2023.

The event aims at boosting academic alliances for peace and security. Thus, universities have a very significant role to play in the future of the Mediterranean and global peace. Universities offer knowledge, evidence, and a sound basis for policies, which are essential for decision-makers.

Noteworthy, the University of Zakho participates in the event through two international projects in cooperation with the UNIMED organization, namely: APPRAIS and Teachers MOD, which aspire to develop the Bologna Process and Basic Education. Indeed, The University of Zakho is strengthening its international relations by making connections with foreign universities.
