The Directorate oversees routine fire prevention checks, emergency evacuation infrastructure, and emergency response training across all university blocks.

  • Fire Prevention & Equipment: Routine inspection and pressure testing of fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, alarm pull stations, and automatic sprinklers.

  • Evacuation Plans & Routes: Clear, illuminated exit signs and floor-by-floor emergency evacuation route maps are posted across every academic building.

  • Emergency Drills: Annual practical fire drills and emergency response training sessions conducted for university wardens, staff, and students.

  • Assembly Points: Designated outdoor safe assembly zones established across all campus sectors.
